The event in London, UK, is just one month away and the list of attendees ranges from industry-leading organizations like Pepsi, Tesco, Tate & Lyle, Leatherhead Food and public health organisations, including The World Cancer Research Fund, Department of Health and Public Health England.
With the Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition’s Carbohydrate Report out in a couple of weeks,The Sugar Reduction Summit provides a much needed neutral and balanced platform for stakeholders and academics to come together and explore evidence-based research on the impact of sugar in our diets and debate whether sugar reduction should be a health priority and how harmful sugar really is, organisers announced.
The event held on July 9 is supported by The Wolfson Institute and will include briefings from leading experts followed by panel debates and open-floor discussions allowing key questions to be debated.
