Our sister magazines Potato Processing International and Potato Storage International welcome new editor
Potato Processing International (PPI) and Potato Storage International (PSI) magazines are pleased to welcome Dan Orehov as the new managing editor of both print titles.
Dan has been with our international publishing group for more than 11 years, acting as editor for HRB expert magazine, a title targeting the foodservice segment and afterwards taking on the role of editor of Frozen Food Europe magazine, the only pan-European magazine for the frozen food industry.
From his new position as managing editor, Dan Orehov will coordinate all aspects of editorial and production work for Frozen Food Europe (FFE), Potato Processing International and Potato Storage International. He will also oversee the digital and online segments, together with their respective editors, as well as contribute to the organization
of the group events, in close connection with the team.
“I am pleased to join my colleagues who work on the Potato titles and whom I’ve known and have worked with on various projects already, from my role as editor of Frozen Food Europe magazine. It is a natural transition for me and I am sure that this new role will only consolidate the position that the magazines have on their respective markets, as leading publications, both on and off-line,” Orehov commented on his appointment. “I will make use of my experience, contacts and knowhow acquired from my position as editor of Frozen Food Europe magazine to enhance all three titles that I will be managing from now on”, he added.
Referring to the synergies between the titles that Dan Orehov will be managing, Svjetlana K. Dan Orehov is a professionally trained journalist with a BA in Journalism and Communication Studies and a specialization in American-style journalism, following a year-long scholarship in magazine production with New York Times journalists.
