VOG Products Launches New Products for Bakeries

VOG Products launched its new purée mixtures with chunks, the new product that extends VOG Products’ range. High-quality steamed apple pieces are combined and filled with apple purée or apple pulp and  customers can have their own recipes developed.

VOG Products offers fruit purées, steamed and frozen apples and fresh food chunks in highly standardized, top quality to bakeries, pastry shops, wholesalers and suppliers to the food industry. The development of customer-specific solutions and products is a fixed element of the recipe for success of the market leader headquartered in Laives (South Tyrol, Italy). “From custom-tailored recipes and a number of different cuts to a wide range of packaging solutions – our customers get what they want,” says Christoph Tappeiner, CEO of VOG Products.

VOG Products also launched new packaging solutions that extend the existing spectrum. Purée, juice and concentrates are now available in practical “Bag in Box” containers of 5 to 25 kg, in addition to tins. The new, sought-after packaging features easy handling and a resealable lid. The system reduces customer costs and time, and thanks to low tare weight and minimal disposal cost, the packaging is very popular.

The VOG Products have a short supply chain. The raw materials come from the members of the producers’ organization, the fruit cooperatives in South Tyrol and Trentino, most of which are small, family-run enterprises whose owners farm their fruit orchards with great devotion and many years of experience.

The traceable origin and close controls along the entire production chain guarantee safe food, as well as continuous availability and security of supply year-round. This unique supply chain is brought together by VOG Products under the name “From: Italian Alps”.

VOG Products processes and refines between 300,000 and 400,000 tonnes of fruit every year – alongside apples, pears, apricots, peaches, kiwis and cherries. Depending on the customer’s requirements, the selected raw materials are also supplied monovarietal or in certified organic quality.
