südback, the trade fair for the bakery and confectionery trades in German-speaking countries and neighbouring foreign countries, will be staged for the 25th time in Stuttgart.
The trade show reports a record on the occasion of this anniversary: over 640 exhibitors from home and abroad will present their company and their innovations on an exhibition area of around 55,000 square metres.
The accompanying programme will also contain exciting platforms for discussions with colleagues and experts, as well as various opportunities to exchange information and experiences. The range of events in the accompanying programme will extend from renowned prizes and awards, and exciting talks and presentations through to tangible knowledge for everyday work.
südback will provide trade visitors with a wide range of know-how for practice and will therefore offer assistance for the successful positioning of bakeries in future.
The more than 640 exhibitors at südback come predominantly from Germany. However, the proportion of exhibitors from abroad (14 per cent) is rising continuously. The main topics on the exhibition area of around 55,000 square metres will be working and operating technology, business equipment, shop construction, hot drinks, ice cream and accessories. Raw materials, semi-finished products, frozen bakery products and convenience also play an important role at südback. Services and consultancy for bakeries, bakery vehicles and mobile sales solutions round off the trade fair programme in Stuttgart.
Messe Stuttgart and its partners are expecting around 34,000 trade visitors on the four days of südback 2014.
A large number of awards and honours are a main feature of südback and prove conclusively why the industry meeting point is an annual must-attend event for many trade visitors. The three prizes for the südback Trend Award 2014 will be presented on the first day of the trade fair and will honour innovative product developments in the areas of technology, design and conception.
