Baker & Baker has rolled out a double-filled salted caramel and nut donut in the UK, following strong demand across Europe. Launching in April, the indulgent treat pairs a premium donut with one of the UK’s most popular flavor profiles.
The new product features a rich nut-nougat and salted caramel cream filling, topped with a salted caramel glaze, milk chocolate drizzle, and a sprinkling of crunchy hazelnut pieces. The premium donut contains no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or eggs, and is suitable for vegetarians.
“We’ve introduced this product to capitalize on a very popular flavor in the UK,” said Helen Sinclair, UK Marketing Manager at Baker & Baker. “Coupled with a premium donut, we’re confident it will prove popular with end-users and support our customers as they look to remain competitive during these challenging times.”
The thaw-and-serve donut is a permanent addition to Baker & Baker’s sweet treats portfolio and reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to launching both limited-edition and permanent products throughout 2025. Just last month, the company debuted the Victoria Muffin, a creative twist on the classic Victoria Sponge.
With a shelf life of three days, the donut is available to foodservice and bakery wholesalers through standard distribution channels. Marketing support, including digital and traditional assets, is also available to help customers drive sales.
